My first few days at home!

Carter came home today!

Carter arrived home today at 9:47 am.
6lbs 8oz and 18in.Terry and I brought Carter home today. He was ready to go and has had a great day!

Big Boy Carter!

Carter now weighs 6lbs 2oz. 17 3/4in. He is taking a bottle every other feed. He is hanging out growing. Later this week they will increase his feeds.

Pictures of Carter in his darling basket from his Great Aunt Mary. Terry took the pictures and didn't think of getting the basket in it(um duh?). He fit in it and was ticked off the whole time we had him in there. It was funny because he doesn't get mad that often.

Carter's Play Day!

So for many of you wondering what is taking so long for Carter to come home, today was the perfect example. We work on baby time...haha.

At his 2:30 feeding Cater would not wake up for the nurse to feed him, so she had to feed him through his feeding tube. OK. Then at 3:05 he wakes up and is wanting to talk and be social. So the nurses take him out and let him hang with them. He stays wide a wake until 4:40. He passes out and is then to tired to bottle feed at his next feeding at 5:30 and sleeps right through the feeding. He did However take his whole bottle at 8:30.

He is making progress on his own time. I think he likes all the cute nurses. He is a big flirt already. He for sure has 3 girlfriend nurses, no joke.

Carter now weighs 5lbs 12oz. 17 1/2 in.

Seven Weeks

At seven weeks Carter weighs 5lbs and 7oz. He is taking two bottles a day at 48cc. As soon as he takes all his feeds he will be home. He has no oxygen and passed his eye exam.

Carter now weighs 5lbs and 3oz, and 16 1/2 in long. He has taken 20cc at one sitting.
