On Friday August 15th Carter was moved from P/SL to Avista. Avista is a closer hospital for Terry and I to get too. They have a smaller NICU; but is nice because he is 1 of 6 babies at the moment. We really miss Carters favorite nurses from P/SL but we are getting to know his new staff. While he is at Avista he will be seen by his pediatrician. This will make for easier transition when we go in for his check-ups.

Good Morning sweet baby, I am so thankful to God that He is keeping you ever so safe. Although your trip to Avista was tramatic for you, you seemed to settle into your new room well. The strong spirit that God has placed inside of you to keep fighting certainly puts a perspective on what is really most valuable to any of us. It is very basic and that is the value of human life. When I go to visit you God seems to continue to stir my heart and always tells me that this is what is most important,you! He tells me every day that He is gently holding you in the palm of His hand and very carefully watching out for you.
That is the closest a Smolinsky relative will probably ever get to being in a spaceship! Lucky you!
Maybe you'll remember this some day and you can tell us all tall tales about your experiences like Uncle Curt!
